With clipboard patching, PasteIntoFile monitors your clipboard and patches it if required, so you can always use the regular "Paste" option or simply CTRL+V in any program.

Clipboard patching was introduced in version 5 and can be enabled from the settings wizard.
It works by pasting the clipboard content automatically to a temporary file in %TEMP%/PasteIntoFile, and copying that file back into the clipboard in addition to what is already copied, so you can paste the file in Windows explorer the regular way. The temporary file is removed when no longer needed.

Please note that this is an experimental feature. It alters the clipboard contents and might impact performance and functionality of other programs using proprietary or internal formats.
