Solutions to some of the problem one may encounter may be below:

TeraASIC's Control Panel cannot connect to the DE0-Nano (Windows)

The Control Panel throws the following error: "download SOPC file (DE0_Nano_ControlPanel.sof) fail!". This means that it can't connect to the device. The likely culprit is that the wrong driver has been used for the DE0-Nano. In Window's device manager point the driver installation to C:\altera\12.1\quartus\drivers. Relaunch the control panel.
