I'm quite certain he is talking about deprecating it as an argument in the ExportData class. It is mainly inferred from environment variables or set explicit by fmu-dataio, so there should be no need any longer for the user to set this. Setting this by the user could potentially give unexpected results also.. e.g. exporting to wrong location.
