[BUG] [App Loader - android.html] Progress bar on Bangle.js 2 not animating

The progres bar does not animate on the Bangle.js 2 screen when uploading apps from the android.html version of the app loader. The normal browser version works as expected. Tested on the dev app loader at https://espruino.github.io/BangleApps/ with and without android.html.

The actual uploading of apps works still and the browser window animates fine.

It could be that somehow the sending is slower, so it updates less frequently. Have you tried uploading a large app such as msggui or something along those lines? Other than that i'm not sure - the core loader that controls progress bar is shared between the two as I understand it...

Getting logs with Comms.debug() activated seems to make it clear that android.html version uses puck.js where non-android.html version uses uart.js to upload the apps. I think that's the problem?

So android.html should also use uart.js I guess.

Yes, that's a pain. The UART library provides the packet transfer functionality, which is what makes it faster but also does the progress bar now. In theory you can just add a new endpoint to the library like I did for the emulator: https://github.com/espruino/BangleApps/blob/master/emulator.js#L65-L121

So potentially not that painful, but it'll come down to making sure it's well tested.

I'm not sure I'll work on this. Many new things I don't know about.

For now it looks like the standard app loader inside Gadgetbridge (leaving 'App Loader URL' setting blank) works as expected.

It appears to work but I think I've likely broken the WebRTC remote, so I'll have fix that
