Hello folks.

Etebase/etesync is a neat piece of software. Thanks for that. 😘

I have written an Ansible role on github.com/roles-ansible/ansible_role_etebase which can be used to install etebase.

This role is inspired by your wiki and creates an etebase user, a python venv, installs uvicorn and the specified pip dependencies. creates a config file and optionally can also create a systemd file for uvicorn and start it.

Do you find something like this exciting and should I possibly write something about it in the docs here? Or rather not?

Thanks! What do you need from us to support it? What are your thoughts for this?

Hey @tasn. Thank you for the answer.
My thought was that before I open a pull request, I'd better ask if there is interest in an installation option via ansible in the documentation. But I interpret your comment as if I am invited to open such a pull request.

Where would be the best place to do this?

I think I will make a proposal for this in the next few days.
