Screen orientation rotates on android even when turned off #16
Comments
Hi @pizazz1 |
Hi Eugene, Absolutely, not critical at all, but happy to assist wherever possible to make it the best app possible. How can I make a small contribution to support?Another enhancement would be to make the square of the colour picked a bit bigger. I saw this in another app and liked it. Probably more a matter of opinion than an enhancement.I have a couple of other ideas if you're interested.Regards, IanSent from my Galaxy

Hi @pizazz1
Thank you for reporting this issue.
It doesn't look critical, thus I will fix it but not immediately.

@pizazz1 , feel free to share any ideas. Regarding the color picker box, it would be nice if you can share a screenshot of the desired result. |
Hi Eugene,See screenshots attached.1. Square is my suggested size of picked colour.2. Circled settings in my opinion could be at the bottom as the colour is most important.3. I'd love to be able to save a set of all watercolour colours I own, and create my selected palettes from these colours. It would save always sifting through all brands and colours to create a palette. For example I own about 50 Daniel Smith watercolours and 30 mijello colours, and one or 2 Holbein. I'd love to create a pallets just from a few of these (owned colours)4. On the colour picker tab and the colour set tab (within the app) it's asking me to install the app 😀 but it's already installed! See screen shot. Thanks for an awesome app.Regards, IanSent from my Galaxy

@pizazz1 , thanks for the suggestions. I will think how to implement them. |
Hi Eugene, Thanks for your speedy replies.Regarding layout, when I used a tablet, it looked great as the mixes were on the side of the picture, not below it, as on my phone.👍🏻Testing on the website today 😀About point 3. I looked at your Instagram you refer to. Can I clarify? I have taken a screen shot. Let's say I own 100 colours from 3 brands. I can only enter 36 colours for a palette. Then each time I create a new palette, I must go through every brand and every colour to select 36 colours. It would be nice to be able to pick from the 100 colours that I own. So kind of like having a main palette of unlimited owned colours and brands. Then selecting a sub palette (working palette) for a particular picture.Bugs I think: A. on this same screenshot, once I've selected a few colours, if I add a "custom colour set" to include another brand, it clears out all my selections I already made, then I must select all the colours again, See second screenshot when trying to add Maimeri Blu for example (and B. then the sets of 12, 24 colours are not available any longer for previously selected brands. This issue is minor if the previously selected colours stayed and were not cleared out).Have a great day, greetings from South Africa.IanSent from my Galaxy

@pizazz1 , thanks for the suggestions. I will think how to implement them.
Regarding item 3. It's possible now. Please see https://www.instagram.com/p/C9kOQkCMm2S/?igsh=bmU4aHY5ZXI3NXMy
Regarding item 4. I will remove the installation promotion banner. There will be some other banner. Thus, it is a temporary issue.

Screen rotation is turned off on android device. The app still rotates the orientation when turning device on its side.
If screen rotation is off, I believe the app should stay in portrait mode.
Alternately, a setting in the app could control this.
Many thanks.
