Thanks for the report, Do you have Files settings > Advanced > Open Files on Windows startup enabled?

I just open the files app randomly, sometimes works nice, sometimes like you see.

I have Open Files on Windows startup enabled, and I am also receiving this issue. It hides all pins in both the side bar and the home page.

How about Files settings > Advanced > Leave app running in the background when the window is closed

Can you try turning that off, close and reopen Files and see if it still happens

Ok, so far, very good. I reopened it like 3 times, and it behaves normally. I will update it in 2 days or so to make sure.
