Bug: Keeps freezing and slow.

Description

Hey any reason the files keeps freezing when opened up and very slow when doing clickings on it?

Steps To Reproduce

open files and operating.

Thanks for the report, Freezing in what way, is the window showing Not responding? Is this only when opening Files?
Loading folders is normally slower than Windows File Explorer, see #4180

Not responding, sometimes are frozen.

Please try restarting your computer, if it still freezes on open

• What do you have Files set to open too.
• What cloud drives do you have, if any.

startup setting to a new tab.

The network drive is a NAS in the internal network. Runs fine and opens fine from windows file explorer.

I meant cloud drives (Google drive, OneDrive, Proton, etc.) They show on the sidebar under Cloud Drives

I have onedrive and drop box. and the synology drive is the NAS internal network drive.

Can you check what happens if you disconnect the NAS? Can you also try Files Preview v4.2.11 https://files.community/download
