Work in Progress on Fidelity Side Process Monitoring UI and Bulk APIs

 

Process Monitoring UI

• * New Angular UI to mitigate Angular JS EOL risk existing Fluxnova cockpit UI inherited from Camunda
• * More user friendly with better search, filter and view capabilities compared to existing cockpit
• * Provides Support capabilities like process instance migration, Token Movement, Incident Retry, variable Updates for better support and management of processes
• * Process Definition View - Start Process, Process migration, Heatmaps, suspend/Resume, Sub process link, Instance views , Job definitions etc
• * Process Instance View - List of instances, variables, called instances, incidents, jobs, decisions
• * Dashboards - Error and volume view for now
• * Incident view - lists all errors across process within an environment
• * Decision Definition view - list of DMN and instances
• * Batches - List of asynchronous job executions/batches
• * Jobs - peak into all job execution and ability to suspend/resume jobs
• * Heat maps to identify bottleneck faster

 

Bulk APIs & other minor changes

• * Task Bulk APIs to assign, comment, complete and delate
• * Bulk Job APIs to delete/suspend
• * Logging enhancements for observibility
• * Error handling to throw message along with code
• * Restrict sensitive process variables directly in the modeler for secure handling of PII and confidential data.

 

Potential Future roadmaps for collaboration

* Task Management -

Fidelity has a version which we will plan to contribute but requires collaborating on the functionalities

• * New application which lists all the human tasks across workflows
• * Ability to claim/complete/update tasks
• * Add/Update notes
• * Attachments
• * Enable task management and Monitoring UI connectivity so the workflow and tasks are linked but still kept separate from modularity/Interoperability perspective

* FDC3 Integration for inter operability

• Ability to click on task from Process view in Fluxnova monitoring
• * Ability to integrate task management as standalone component into operational Uis
• * Ability to connect Fluxnova process instance view to any other interop compatible applications
• * Fluxnova specific FDC3 intents like openProcess, claimTask, completeTask etc

Potential AI integration

• * BPM developer assist tool like Fluxnova copilot - Fidelity has a POC done on this
• * Custom model trained for Cycle time prediction based on historic data
• * Example integration to track visibility of AI execution outside workflow
• * Dynamic task routing or dynamic task execution

 

* Reporting and Dashboards

• * Process growth over time - Definition and instances
• * Task queues and growth over time
• * Error trend over time
• * Heatmaps
