The vocabulary browser shows a list of terminologies and filter options. The list is fully loaded by the client, so filtering is implemented in the client. BARTOC Search provides a more complex search and filter over all BARTOC with similar functionality. Maybe both can be aligned in some way?
Notes:
- The list of terminologies is configured in Cocoda - it is possible to configure vocabularies not being in BARTOC.
- BARTOC search is server-side, Cocoda is client-side, this is difficult to align
- But we don't want to manage two terminology searches
- In particular extended filter functionality would be is useful in Cocoda
Possible solution:
- Allow to configure either a BARTOC Search API for list of vocabularies, optionally as subset limited with query parameter) => full filtering or custom list (like now) with limited filtering
