nix-bootstrap has previously supported Python through the use of mach-nix.
mach-nix has since become unmaintained and broken, and thus nix-bootstrap's support is now broken.
We would welcome users with Python experience with Nix contributing some new infrastructure which does not rely on mach-nix. In the meantime, Python support will be removed from nix-bootstrap.
