No warning when you submit the download job without saving a customized excerpt

On OsMaxx portal end user GUI :

What I did:
I trace a polygonal boundary for a new excerpt quickly.
After that, I sharp my polygon, adding some more vertex.
I forget to push the "save" button.
Looking my beautiful polygon, I click on the "Export" button, thinking.
Then I see in the "My Exports" tab, that my excerpt is processing with the first bad polygon.
And I can't cancel it, even it's inusable (it could be another issue).

What I expected:
I expected that the visible polygon will be processed.

Possible solutions

• "Warning message when I click on "Export" asking me if I want to save before export
• OR autosave polygon (and no "Save" button)
