[Xcode 26] Using Claude Code with cmd gets stuck in "Responding" and eventually times out.

When using cmd I experience the chat will eventually get stuck when the AI is either trying to generate code or receive a possibly big response from Claude Code. At some point it will time out with the whole things never finishing.

Not sure what to post here for additional info since Xcode 26 doesn't really give debug information.

How often would you say this happens? I'll do more testing with long running tasks.

My guess would be that Xcode has a request timeout that is lower than the time it takes Claude Code to complete its task. I'll try to confirm this (I'm not sure what the fix would be).

This happens quite often to a point I'd switch the Xcode 26 Claude integration instead.

Do you see anything specific when you open the conversation in cmd? You should be able to see there the same conversation as you had in Xcode

OK, made it happen and then viewed it in cmd. The issue for this case is Error editing file. I then went and checked the permissions and they were all checked off (I know I checked them on before. Do they reset?). I checked them back on. Restarted the app and now I can't send anything.
