Let me contribute my suggestion. I propose the name 'Echosless.' The word 'Echo' is related to a sonar navigation tool, followed by the letter 's,' which could represent 'server,' and ending with the suffix 'less.' |
I was thinking about echoless as well (without the s) |
or echoscan |

Background
Hey again @gitricko!
I wanted to follow up on my previous message about Sonarless.
First, I want to again express our appreciation for your contribution to the Community. It’s great that you took the time to develop this tool! However, after much internal discussion, I need to bring an important matter to your attention.
We (Sonar) have specific rules governing the use of Sonar-related terms to protect our brand and avoid confusion. After review, we’ve determined that the name “Sonarless” may infringe on Sonar’s trademark guidelines.
We would like you to consider renaming your project something that doesn’t include or closely resemble any of our trademarked terms (such as Sonar and SonarQube).
We value your contribution to the community and hope you understand our position.
Could you please let us know your thoughts on renaming the project?
We’re happy to discuss this further if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for your understanding.
