Hey,
I would like to know if there is any possibility to configure wakeonlan on latest version of GLPI and GLPI-Agent.
At the moment i've got around 30 computers with GLPI-Agents.

WakeOnLan support was a FusionInventory::Agent feature which is actually not supported in GLPI::Agent. We decide this as the protocol behind is deprecated, not used by our customers and complex to support in our perl windows environment. GLPI-Agent v1.0 has been released the 10th December in 2021 and you're the first to look for this support.

I just wonder... what about agents which are installed on Linux?

Does that work? If yes in what way? If no, why there is a green check mark?

Now you speak about it... it might work. You may only need to install Net::Write::Layer2 perl module beside glpi-agent. If not provided by your distro, you'll have to install it manually.

What if i did install Net::Write::Layer2? What's next? How to use it? glpi-agent --task-wakeonlan?

Check first the task is available with glpi-agent --list-tasks. If it isn't installed, you may have to double-check glpi-agent installation.
Then if installed, this just means you can force tasks run to have it starting.
To force just this one on a one shot from the commandline, just run:

glpi-agent --tasks=wakeonlan --force

If you need to debug that run on the commandline, better run this:

glpi-agent --logger=stderr --debug --debug --tasks=wakeonlan --force

I assume here you still configure server as expected, if not, you'll have to add --server option.
