Should ferry_hive_store migrate to hive_ce?

As we all know, hive is no longer maintained 😢 but the community seems to be making some effort to keep it alive with hive_ce.

Should ferry_hive_store use hive_ce?

Personally, I have never tried hive_ce, and I avoid using hive when I can (I am currently using sembast).
In my current project for instance I'm only using hive because of ferry.

I know this would be a breaking change for people that use ferry, but as far as I understand hive_ce is basically a drop-in replacement. You just need to change the imports to point to it. And personally I would be much more comfortable using a package for caching that is actually maintained.

I think it's a good idea.

As far as I understand, people could already use ferry_hive_store with hive_ce by using dependency overrides as outlined in https://pub.dev/packages/hive_ce#workaround-for-transitive-hive-dependencies, but it would probably be good to move to hive_ce in a new major version of ferry_hive_store, or a separate ferry_hive_ce_store.

Just as a suggestion, but if it works well maybe the documentation should be updated to start recommending the CE store instead which is probably the better pick for new users of ferry, I would say 🤔

I don't have much experience with sqlite in Dart, but it looks good, and it's always great to have other options.

I'm testing out using Ferry with HiveCE and noticed that Ferry still depends on Hive due to OfflineMutationTypedLink which takes a Hive box.

I'm not using OfflineMutationTypedLink, but just wanted to mention this here. Are there going to be any compatibility issues?
