What would you like to improve?
The current Auto-Move Files on Metadata Update is applied globally, and when dealing with comics it makes a bit of a mess. I prefer to keep my comic series in one folder with the following
{series} (1st comic year)/, for example,Fables (2002)/. Aside from that, users who rely on structures dictated by other applications cannot make use of the feature for libraries where it could be used. What's the current friction?
When using auto-move with the pattern library override containing
{series} ({year})/, it often creates multiple folders because{year}follows the title's year and not the series first published year, causing it to become:What would make this better?
I'd like to propose an override option similar to the Patterns > Library Overrides for Auto-Move Files on Metadata Update, so users can enable or disable it for specific libraries.
Anything else? (Optional)
