Won't show boot options after first system restart on Macbook

Using the ubuntu 22.04.2 by manual iso file download fails: Installation simply halts after restart on Macbook, no booting option is shown at startup after selecting the BOOTCAMP partition (windows) from the options. The files are created in ubuntu folder and when I repeat running wubiuefi, it wants to uninstall first. The log file is attached.
Is the issue with the 22.04.2 version, or the Macbook boot partitioning system?
