Tally-ho HT powering

I wanted to change the power cable of my head tracker (nano 33 BLE), so I cut some USB-C cable and soldered the red and black (actually not coated one) wire to the VIN and GND of the BLE. After putting the USB-C connector in the goggles' USB port nothing happened. I tried to power it from the wall charger, but the results were the same - nothing. When power the Arduino board from its own micro USB connector, everything works fine. Seems that I bricked the VIN pin. I saw that there is a 3.3V on the board. Can I use it for powering the Arduino board or it is 3.3V out only?

Update: the Arduino board is not bricked. Seems that my DJI goggles 2 USB is a peripheral USB device and not host usb by default (OTG USB). So it didn't supply power to the head-tracker. To do that, I used OTG USB type C, so that way the goggles' USB became a power source and now everything works as it should.
Issue could be closed.
