Currently there's a warning of unmet peer dependency on React 19 projects:

Hi @fywk and @domdomegg, firstly thanks for your contribution to timeago-react, but this project has not been updated for years, and I, as the maintainer, have done no programming for 3 years. Therefore, I'm sorry to tell you all that I will not fix this issue and not merge the PR because I have forgotten how to release a new version and publish it to npm 😭. I suggest you to fork this project and fix on your own version. Sorry again.

Ah that's a shame to hear. Would you be open to handing over the project to a new maintainer? I would be open to be the new maintainer if this is an option.
