Description

As an Besu user I want to be able to pass a custom checkpoint sync block without specifying a new genesis-file so that using a custom checkpoint is easier to be done.

Acceptance Criteria

  • Pass a custom checkpoint sync block using the --override-genesis-config overrides the default checkpoint block specified in the genesis file and starts sync from the custom block.

This will be more viable when history expiry happens.

This will be possible once we implement the syncing changes for history expiry in #8005
