Hi, it would be great to have this coloring feature.
@robertknight Could you share where the main challenges lie?

The challenges are mostly around organizational priorities and product design rather than technical implementation difficulties.

1. Prioritization. Fitting this in around the other things folks are asking us to build.
2. Accommodating different uses for colors. Some people want a simple color picker, others want colors that have some semantic association, where the semantics might relate to who annotated, what they annotated or properties of the annotation (does it have a comment? did someone reply?)
3. Accessibility in a social context. Colors that work for one user might not work for another user in the same group.
