CDK construct to deploy next.js + image optimization with fargate instead

Thanks a lot for creating this repo and showing how to use the sls-next package.

In your article, you mention:

Until now I was just able to deploy functional webapps with ISR in AWS using containers (ECS or Fargate)

By any chance, do you have a CDK construct that deploy a next.js app with ISR + image optimization using fargate you can share?
I'd prefer to run on fargate, mainly for the cold start problem in lambda (and maybe for cost reduction depending on the project).

Did you have the image optimization (s3 + cloudfront) working in your next js fargate deploy? Were you reusing the image lambda from sls-next? Or you implemented the next js image optimizer in another way, maybe with https://github.com/milliHQ/pixel / https://github.com/milliHQ/terraform-aws-next-js-image-optimization?

Hey @ibrahimcesar, thank you so much for taking the time to create that repo.

Unfortunately, in your example, the image are optimized on the fargate instances (so optimized once per instance and kind of limited by the instance drive storage space, so not scalable for millions of images). Besides, most of the images are a cache MISS, due to Cache-control: no-cache in the request headers.

I was looking for a solution which upload images to S3 + CDN in front and optimize them on the fly, thus leveraging one of the package mentioned in my initial question.
I guess you never tried or managed to implement this and/or have another setup for image management in combination with fargate?

In any case, your help was greatly appreciated!
