Creating a GitHub action bot for inclusive naming is a good thing to consider.

  • It will help streamline how projects owners track the naming conventions for their project
  • It will also help contributors aware of words that are considered harmful language
  • The bot will promptly notify contributors to review their choice of language as they create PR's

Woke is an existing tool for this purpose that already has a user based and has integrations including GitHub Actions
Woke can be configured using yaml files. Woke provides an example file as a starting point. Also see the rules documentation.

Rather than reinventing the wheel, INI could provide yaml definition files to provide to Woke to have a working solution. This would then work on all platforms including locally.

An this can be expanded by providing a custom INI branded Action that wraps this solution in a convenient package.
