In the documentation the switch is consider an interaction element rather than a form field.
But it does not expand on the explanation of why. From my perspective if a setting screen is a form, and an input e.g.: Enable notifications.
I think it's very intuitive for the user to use this component, and maybe for the switch itself there is no need for a confirmation, but for the rest of the form fields we need one.
In addition to this the user-input-changed event is not trigger.
I would like to understand this more and use it in a form
