The idea was to implement this using the existing stack. I am open to discuss a switch to a different framework, if it brings clear advantages and does not degrade the current functionality though. |

I’m very interested in working on Project https://www.honeynet.org/gsoc/gsoc-2026/google-summer-of-code-2026-project-ideas/ Dashboard Modularization. The idea of refactoring the current hard-coded dashboard into a configuration-driven and extensible widget system really appeals to me.
While analyzing the frontend, I noticed it is currently a client-side React application. For this project, I plan to focus strictly on modularizing the dashboard within the existing stack or we can switch to Next.js particularly if server-side rendering or performance optimization becomes relevant
