several "Libraries" one installation

We would like to add to CDS other libraries a part from the main Library, i.e. the English Book Club library.
This would mean at least:

• Different set of items and books
• Different access rights definitions

Do you think about a whole library or is it more something like a location/sublocation. Ie. everything is CERN library but you have a location English Book Club with different loan periods etc. (cf. 852)

A whole library would be an entirely independent entity (own budget, own shelving, interchange between other libraries would be ILL etc.)

Just wondering cause wrt circulation DESY stays tuned to the development.

In the very specific case of the English Book Club, this is indeed a different Library not managed directly by the CERN Library (different budget, different users, different collection...).
