What should this feature add?

It would be helpful to have some alerts when the doing generations, for completion and for errors. This is especially useful when doing high resolution or large batch size generations on slower systems, where users would want to do something else while waiting, but must currently either leave the console up in the background or constantly check back to it. Also, a number of errors can currently be hard to spot without looking at the console, with it taking a bit to notice the gen has stopped midway through and things are not just going slowly.

Options include the sound cues or simply having the icon/taskbar flash. This way it is not necessary to constantly check the console window to see if things are done or if there has been a problem.
