@FloraSauerbronn this repository contains examples and demonstrations for many IOOS's Software and services. It would be interesting to add a new one with your work on gliderpy during GSoC24. We can guide you through the process and a good starting point would be the documentation notebook you created for gliderpy (link above).

Even though GSoC ended that would be a nice way to close your activities and show the larger community what you have done. What do you think?

I'm glad to contribute more and give a better closure of GSoC 2024 for IOOS.
Could you please clarify the distinction between a notebook added to gliderpy (from my last PR) from one that would be added to ioos_code_lab?

The notebooks here are part of a "book" and have a narrative telling a story. You can start with the doc notebook and we can add the story together. Please read some from https://ioos.github.io/ioos_code_lab/content/intro.html to familiarize with the existing content.

Ok, would be something similar of my first notebook version, that had a lot more information than neded for a simple documentation ?
In the options listed in instructions from IOOS guidance notebooks
I thought that the one that suits best is data_analysis_and_visualization_notebooks.

We can start with that.

Yep. That would be a good place for it.

@ocefpaf Ok. Should I just do a first push and you review it ?
