Manager Model.py Where did you get all the GUIDs?

Hi, I noticed in your model.py you had loads of GUIDs hardcoded into the source code.

Where did you get this information?

I was looking at x.manager.io/api and it eventually led me down various GUIDs, however there's no easy way to know what a GUID is referring to in Manager.

So if I wanted to refer to a particular account, it seems I'd have to do this by going through the GUI first.

The GUID are automatically extracted from the API definition and other places so that users of this module should never have to worry about any GUID.

Hard-coded accounts are in model.py, like BalanceSheetAccountsReceivableAccount. But if you have added your own account, you can look them up by name or reference/id, e.g.: business_live.BankOrCashAccount["Checking"]. There are also the two other kinds of accounts, for example: business.ProfitAndLossStatementAccount["Sales and promotion expenses"] and business.BalanceSheetAccount["Sales tax payable"].

There is a small example of this sort of look up in example.py, to look up the division. If you could share more about your needs, I could advise. And maybe example.py could be expanded to make some of these concepts clearer.
