WARNING: Git clone too shallow

Hi Jared,

thank you so much for conceiving and maintaining this excellent package.

We just wanted to report that by introducing sphinx-last-updated-by-git with v2.7.0, all of our documentation builds on GHA went south, while building on RTD still worked.

It is natural, because this package needs reasonably unshallowed clones, but it needed a few cycles of exploration to find out that the regression was indirectly introduced by sphinx-sitemap, of course with a root cause on our GHA configuration.

This is the fix we are applying to improve the situation for us.
