Custom CloudFront Distribution props is not used?

The function with signature:

private createCloudFrontDistribution(cfDistributionProps?: NextjsDistributionCdkOverrideProps) {

has this optional prop cfDistributionProps, but I don't see it populated where the function is called:

distribution = this.createCloudFrontDistribution();

We have the use case of setting the logBucket prop on the Distribution, but I don't see how that would be possible currently.
