API error (timeout or blocked) - Germany - 5080 + 5090

NVIDIA added the founders cards again to their store (they are marked as sold out) but it seems they have blocked API now? Using plenio it shows API error (timeout or blocked) and checking https://api.store.nvidia.com/partner/v1/feinventory?status=1&skus=PROFESHOP5090&locale=de-de it also gives me blocked error message.

Works fine on my end. Did you open multiple tabs of notify-fe or hack the refresh timer? This could send too many requests from your home IP.

Very strange, I just checked again and its not blocked anymore.
I was trying 10 devices today, different networks, Im sure nvidia did something on their end that it was blocked and now its back.

Can confirm I am having the same issue for the austrian store since recently. With a different device it seems to work however.

And why is there an increased viewer count over the last days - did I miss sth?

Hey,
Single tab open with refresh timer set to 30s. As of now its working again for the moment. I assume Nvidia simply has implemented some API limits. Given the high increase in viewers as you mentioned they potentially started throttling API access. I think the increase may be related to the rumours that prices are supposed to be doubling soon.

I believe the high number is people are craving for some 5090s that are not overpriced and its been a month since last drop in some countries

I'm getting this issue also. UK based. Firefox and Chrome - cleared cookies or not. Within 5 or 30 minutes or so I get the API error in the screenshot. I don't have any other tabs or apps hitting the api.

Yep, API connection started having hiccups. Seems Akamai protection kicked in.

Yes, does not work for me either. I will dive in and check if I can fix it within the current logic of how notify-fe works.

Now it works again? Difficult to debug.

currently for me, all ok for a few hours and then error appears after 3 or 4 hours - this is with a refresh rate of 30 seconds.
