Delaware Open Vendor Expense & Revenue Data Engine (DOVERDE)

Agency-agnostic automated revenue and expense ETL and analysis using Delaware open revenue and checkbook datasets, Polars, and the Socrata Open Data API. Designed to run in Google Colab using Google Drive.

Configuration in config.yaml

  • Copy example file to config.yaml (e.g. cp config.yaml.example config.yaml and update.
  • By default, data will only download if dataset on data.delaware.gov is newer. To change, set force_refresh to True.
  • Adjust results limit by setting limit. Low limit recommended for testing. Use force_refresh after raising limit.
