Amazon SES is very restrictive. You have to pass many reviews, you can be blacklisted for any little mistakes. It's very frustrating.

Let's add it's direct competitor with it's new email service : https://developers.cloudflare.com/email-service/

I'm never going to implement it myself because I do many languages, but Golang isn't part of them and not planned to learn...

This is very likely to never get implemented. If you read the linked page Cloudflare make clear their email service is for transactional emails only (unlike SES). Listmonk is primarily a tool for delivering emails that are very much not transactional. From the page you linked:

Cloudflare Email Service provides powerful email capabilities:

• Email Sending for outbound transactional emails

If you read the specific terms or service for the Cloudflare email service they again spell this out (emphasis added):

1. You may only use the Email Service (a) with domains or email addresses that you own or have the explicit right to use and (b) to send email messages sent in response to a specific customer interaction to facilitate an agreed-upon transaction or update such customer (“Transactional Emails”).
