Compiling with msvc

Hi,

It doesn't seem to be possible to compile this using MSVC.

I guess this might be expected?

Actually, even trying to compile it as a library (to embed in an application) fails with

Right. It's specifically designed to not be compiled with MSVC, Irc I have removed all the related #ifdef mess from it. Why would people use non open source compilers when a better alternative boggled my mind at the time.

This is an easy fix problem. I've run into it before. Just look where the stupid macros called use_tcc_* are defined and remove them. Actually 2 years back I have commited a patch in mob branch that removes those unused defines, because it's absolutely stupid, but Grishka decided to revert it saying "these unused defines are there on purpose, yes we want to make everyone's life miserable who will try using malloc and free just like a normal being." I thought, we can, common! you are a freaking maintainer of the code, when someone sends the patch you read it and see if it needs any style fixes and or etc! No we better shall define some dumbass macros that make no sense and hinder development. Genius! I sucked it up and didn't bother arguing, as it's one of those things I absolutely hate about software in general.

Re msvc, I understand the stance, but I can't link objects produced with a non-msvc compiler, and sadly some of the other libraries I'm using only have build files for msvc. :shootmenow:
