Current behaviour

The corresponding timestamp in application log is 2026-06-04 11:37:05 (at the 46th second of the video), and the command toggleSafeMode was triggered immediately after selecting text with mouse.
Since the application automatically switches to safe mode when the problem occurs, I am unable to see the console output at the time of the crash.
All plugins are disabled, and the issue still occurs.

Expected behaviour

Text selection works normally without crashing, and Joplin stays in normal mode instead of switching to safe mode automatically.

@personalizedrefrigerator There's a big chunk of inline html in the note shown in the video. Is it possible this crash might be related to #15470 ?

I tried using the note content from the log and was not able to reproduce the issue.

@xipxiks I did notice one difference though in your video (other than the resources not existing in my version), which is that the markdown viewer on the right side has numbering for the headings (and they are light blue) despite the raw content not having any numbering. Is that enabled via a plugin or some css styling?
