Hi everyone! 👋
I'm Kavin, a 2nd-year CS student. I'm really excited to apply for GSoC 2026 with Learning Unlimited and have been spending some time exploring the ESP-Website codebase.
I just made my first small contribution to update the CI references in the documentation from Travis to GitHub Actions (PR #5339). I also opened Issue #5340 for it.
However, before I could ask to be assigned to the issue so the bot would reopen my PR, another community member used the /assign command on it. Since my code is already submitted in the PR, I wanted to ask what the best practice is here? Should I leave my PR open for review, or should I close it and look for a fresh issue to tackle?
I'm looking forward to learning from you all and working on my proposal before the March 31st deadline!
Best,
Kavin
