Description
Remove or phase out support for CMB2, as WordPress is moving away from metaboxes (replaced by the new metabox drawer in WordPress 6.6 and beyond).

Why This Matters

  • CMB2 is no longer the recommended approach.
  • Maintaining CMB2 integration may require unnecessary overhead and code complexity.

Tasks

  1. Locate and remove or refactor all references to CMB2.
  2. Provide migration steps if needed, to maintain backward compatibility.
  3. Update documentation and readme to reflect the removal of CMB2.
