• Worked for Windows host (HCS).
  • Tried to use gvisor-tap-vsock.
    • gvisor-tap-vsock server is launched without any error on host side.
    • But VM cannot access to internet through vsock. I think I need to setup something on VM side.
• Tidy up PR Autoappend common tool directories to PATH #5348.

🎯Goals for nextweek:

• Continue working for Windows host (HCS).
  • Investigate gvisor-tap-vsock and vsock, and setup VM side.

Windows guests

Windows hosts

• Windows: autoappend %PROGRAMFILES%\QEMU etc. to %PATH% #4820
  • Merged Autoappend common tool directories to PATH #5348
• Support for Windows hosts, without depending on QEMU #4961
  • Support for user-v2 networking is ideal, but doesn't seem feasible in practice

    • Implement 9p mounts. virtiofs might be available too in the latest Windows. WSL2 recently gained support for virtiofs.
