New API Request - all transactions with tag (name not id)

In this spec, it would be nice to be able to provide a tag_name not just tag_id

Hi @mimshwright . We've intentionally removed the ability to create tags as a "side effect" of updating a transaction from the v2 API. We have anecdotal evidence that this leads to the creation of similarly named, redundant tags.

If you are certain you want to tag a transaction using a tag that doesn't already exist, create a new tag, and refer to it by its id.

Sorry for the confusion. I was asking about the get request. So getting all transactions without first looking up the tag id

Ah, I see. Unlikely, at least for now. Can you give me a sense of the use case for an app where you would want to filter by tag name without having to first fetch the tag names to see what possible names would be useful as filters?
