incompatible with Ruby 2.0+

No errors are produced but using the example:

```
ruby -rspa 'C:\Program Files\ruby\gem' list --remote sspi
```

fails to authenticate.

I'll work on a PR but I wanted to get this documented just in case I don't figure it out and someone else wants to take it on.
