Sideband Situation Map

When accessing the Situation Map on my Windows 10 Machine, the message returned is:

"No location, Your current location is unknown. Make sure the relevant Telemetry sensors and permissions have been enabled"

I have an Android phone which works without issue and I have replicated the Telemetry settings and ensured Allows Desktops Apps and Apps to access your location is on, as well as, active location. Does anyone have a checklist per se, of the exact configuration?

Does this happen as soon as you enter the map, or only when clicking on the location icon in the toolbar?

Key changes:

1. Renamed the class to WindowsLocationPlugin.
2. Replaced GPSDClient with Windows geolocation using winsdk.windows.devices.geolocation.
3. Modified the update_job method to use the new get_location method.
4. Implemented an asynchronous get_location method using Windows Geolocation API.
5. Removed Linux-specific error handling and connection logic.
6. Updated the has_location method to check for Windows-specific location data.
7. Note that Windows Geolocation doesn't directly provide speed and bearing, so these are set to None. Might need to implement a method to calculate these from successive position updates if needed.
   This version maintains the overall structure and functionality of the plugin while using Windows-specific geolocation services. Make sure to install the winsdk package and run this on a Windows 10 device with version 10.0.17763.0 or later.

When I run the script

Normally when the plugin is loaded by Sideband, the Sideband core will already have imported the SidebandTelemetryPlugin base class into the execution context, and will then instantiate the plugin class internally and start it. Therefore, you can't run the script directly.

The easiest way to test it is probably just to load it as a plugin in Sideband, with debug logging enabled.

If you want to run it directly while working on it, you could probably also (just during development, remove it when running it inside sideband) import the SidebandTelemetryPlugin class with:

from sbapp.sideband.plugins import SidebandTelemetryPlugin
