Error while running OpenAlex data in Biblioshiny

I am trying to run OpenAlex data in Biblioshiny, but I am getting the following errors:

Error: object 'M' not found
Error: [object Object]
bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted) -- no data loaded

The issue appears when I upload or process the OpenAlex data file in Biblioshiny. Because of this, the data is not loading properly and the analysis cannot continue.

I would appreciate your help in identifying the reason for this error and how to fix it.

I need more information about the process.

How did you download the data from OpenAlex?
Biblioshiny imports two types of collections from OpenAlex:

• a CSV file exported after running a query on the openalex.org website;
• an RData file containing a collection downloaded using openalexR, in list format (output=“list”) and saved with save().

Please clarify the process further and perhaps provide a link to download a sample file of your collection.

Saying just "CSV file" is not enough for us to help you.

The error you are seeing (bad restore file magic number (file may be corrupted) -- no data loaded) strongly suggests that you are trying to load a CSV file using a menu option meant for RData files, or vice versa.

As I mentioned before, we cannot guess your workflow. If you want us to help you, you must provide the following information:
• Step-by-step workflow: What exactly did you select in the Data -> Import menu in biblioshiny? Please share screenshots of your settings.
• Console logs: Please share a screenshot of the full R console showing exactly when these errors appear.
• Sample data: Most importantly, please provide a link to download a partial version of your CSV file (even just a few rows) so we can try to replicate the error.

If you do not provide this information, I will have to close this issue.
