[SOLVED] shutil error even when not running on vm

Figured out the issue; it's caused by the getpass() function getting my username (xbrayx1) but not my ACTUAL user (xbray), so it keeps referencing "xbrayx1" throughout the code. I fixed this by getting rid of the getpass library and just made a function that returned the username like this:
def getuser(): return os.path.basename(os.path.expanduser("~"))

This probably could be written better, but it works and does not require any more tinkering with the code.
