How to make MCP work with editor tools?

Greetings,

I think I figured out the issue with my Opencode setup by trying to use bifrost on Open WebUI (and reading the docs).

The MCP call arrives on the OWU client but results in an empty result. I think this happens because MCP tool execution should me via the API.

So, how can I make this work?
