Description

Hey All!

as 2.6 is coming up I'd have a quiet specific wish:

It would be great to have meshing via a spare USART.

Why? The plan is to build a 433MHz/868MHz router hub. And the only option to do this right now switching on the incredibly power hungry Wifi-modem on on my ESP32 (which then enables me to use either MQTT or the new LAN-meshing in v2.6) - what still relies on infrastructure.

Thank you!

Hi! Yes, we're excited for 2.6 as well.

Several of the developers are also interested in dual radio nodes.

It appears to be a little bit more work than adding another UART, so at the moment looking at it for 3.0
