Workspace: Ability to assign workspaces to selected desktop

Description of the new feature / enhancement

Even with the advent of large computer screens, multiple workflows are better managed in different desktop or computer screens.
The ability to start a complete workspace in a specific desktop would really help organise these workflows.

Scenario when this would be used?

When we need multiple desktops/screens with specific application at specific locations.

When creating the workspace, we simply select an existing screen or name a desktop this workspace should be started in.

If the screen is no longer connected, we launch in the current screen.
If the desktop does not exist, either we launch in the current desktop or we simply create it.

I agree. If you can't scope a workspace to a desktop then the two systems aren't very compatible.

Ideally, I'd love for Workspaces to be capable of remembering which screen, position AND virtual desktop is a window open on, so that we could create a full set-up where applications are opened on their appropriate desktops.
