Some features in ZoomIt (like Record) also use the Alt modifier for additional features, but DemoType shouldn't be one of them.
When testing Demo type, I'm trying to use AltGr+7, but it writes the right character instead of starting Demo Type, so I'm currently unable to repro. Can you please provide additional information? /needinfo

I have a reduced keyset (No numPad). Meaning I have to press SHIFT to type a number.
My keyboard layout is set to French.
When I press SHIFT
1234567
When I don't
&é"'(-è

When I set a new shortcut PowerToys interprets the numerical value but I'm not pressing shift. So I would expect the shortcut to be like CTRL + &, but it becomes CTRL + 1.

Currently I have made the shortcuts to use the ALT key instead of CTRL
From Alt+1 to Alt+7. I kept the dault values, just changed CTRL to ALT on all.
Since I moved to the ALT shortcut, I have something more:
keys &é"'-è (1234 67) are fine
But the '(' launch the recording, as if I had pressed ALT + 5.

Hi everybody,
I have a similar issue with Zoomit on a French azerty keyboard.
For now I have kept the Ctrl as the default key to press to use Zoomit.

Pressing Alt Gr + 5 to write a bracket starts the recording which is mapped on ctrl + 5 shortcut:

The other shortcuts (ctrl +1, ctrl +2 etc) are not activated when pressing AltGr + 1 and are working as expected.

I have the same problem with ZoomIt, but for Record. I have my keybind set to Ctrl+Alt+R and it activates on Ctrl+R. I assume this means the Alt key is being interpreted redundantly as Ctrl.

I don't seem to have the problem with DemoType: I can press my assigned keybind (Ctrl+Alt+T) and I get the demotype error message (no file specified), but Ctrl+T does not produce that error message.

Especially with this issue plaguing ZoomIt subcommands that I don't particularly want, it would certainly be nice if features could individually be toggled off or their keybinds set to null
