mouse highlighter issue: 1 orphan mouse highlighter cycle remains and doesn't disappear

Steps to reproduce

enable the mouse highlighter, it will show a cycle when click on left / right button, and the cycle will fadeaway in ~1 sec.
but time to time, the will be an orphan cycle left on screen, and not disappear but last forever. This is like an ink in my screen and blocks other window. It won't disappear unless we switch off the Mouse highlighter feature (by Win + Shift + H) and re-enable it.

✔️ Expected Behavior

no reminding mouse highlight cycle in screen.

❌ Actual Behavior

1 orphan mouse highlighter cycle in screen
